Meet Naomi

Having grown up in a homeschool family of seven, stories have been a part of my everyday life. From roleplaying with my siblings, to living inside epic fantasies, fiction has not only been a source of entertainment, but also shapes how I sees the world.

Today I writes books of family and hope for burdened souls. Through my stories, I seeks to ignite Light and Truth in my readers, giving them courage to fight the shadows and lies of this world. 

When I'm laughing with my siblings, or drinking too much coffee, you can find me avoiding people—like the introvert I am.

What Do I Write?

LIGHT:​​

I am all too familiar with the feeling of drowning in darkness so deep the Light seems to have left. My stories inspire readers to gather their courage, because its in darkness, that the Light shines brightest.​

FAMILY:​​

Growing up in a family of seven and having witnessed the sundering of many close-knit families, I understand the importance of community. Whether blood-related or found, family will always be present in my stories.

WHIMSY:

Everyone needs a break from the overwhelm of life. My stories give readers whimsical and immersive worlds they can escape to, while bringing them biblical truths through the eyes of the characters.

IDENTITY:

We all wrestle with the question “Who am I?” Using my Christian worldview, I aim to help my reader find her calling as a Christian through the character’s transformative journey rather than spoon-fed sermons.

  • I am a child of God, saved by the blood of His son, and that influences everything I do, say, and create.

  • I've been a professional barista at a local coffee shop since 2021, so lattes are my life.

  • I own a beautiful twelve-hole ocarina that I love to bring outside and play haunting melodies on. 

  • Leather-bound journals and fountain pens are some of the best things in the world!

  • I love learning about different personalities. Specifically using the MBTI system. I'm an INFJ.

  • My style and aesthetic is constantly changing depending on what story I'm writing, and what season I'm in. Ranging anywhere from goblincore to light academia , 

  • ​I'm as much of a nerd as I am a writer! You can often find me wearing fandom themed t-shirts, listening to my favorite soundtracks or randomly quoting lines from my favorite books, movies and TV shows!​
